IT IS NOT OFTEN THAT YOU RECEIVE A MESSAGE FROM A NEIGHBOUR INFORMING YOU OF ITEMS THAT THEY ARE DISPOSING OF AND IT JUST SO HAPPENS ONE OF THOSE ITEMS IS A HUGE FUCK OFF RIMOWA SUITCASE. THAT’S GOING STRAIGHT IN MY BASKET THANK YOU KIND SIR. linked is the promo video for the rimowa x ald collab released in may. it is utterly beautiful. the composition, mood, tone, pace and energy are second to none. i want to see more from ted.

you imagine what you desire

jupiter artland is like stepping onto a set of hybrid of both a WES ANDERSON AND YORGOS LANTHIMOS directed film. truly OTHERWORLDLY. i exclaimed to the gift shop assistant “i can’t believe i didn’t know about this place until recently” she replied, “yeh people that don’t know about art usually aren’t aware”…and at that i bought a £3 pebble with goggly eyes, clicked my heels and went on my way. 

imitation is the greatest form of flattery

this month’s love is on slawn and condo. as i am not in a position to buy either of their original works i had to be resourceful and do them myself. both of their works are really fun and liberating to recreate. their styles are loose and experimental which defies my more rigid, “perfect” mode of operating. i really enjoyed creating 7 works this month, it really helped me get out of my head.
